Faye Wong - Coming Home, No Regrets, Sky, Mystery
Faye Wong broke a lot of ground during her career: Teresa Teng covers, Tori Amos and Cranberries covers, Buddhism spokesperson, Chinese Bjork, etc. But my fondest memories are for these early solo albums that document a transformation from slightly off kilter pop star, to an artist with a truly unique voice. Some of the those songs are so classic they hardly bear mentioning, but there are a few tracks that are memorable for pushing the envelope.
