Almond Farina Shortbread
1/2 cup butter (or clarified butter)
1/2 cup powdered sugar (try granulated sugar)
1 cup all purpose flour (can substitute wheat/AP flour, or 1/4 cup almond flour, or 2 tbsp chickpea flour)
1/2 cup farina (cream of wheat)
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cardamom (or 3 fresh ground seeds)
1/4 tsp baking soda
*1 tbsp yogurt (if needed to bring dough together loosely)
*pinch nutmeg, cloves, black pepper are also good variations
*granulated sugar for rolling
